From your Pastor;

“Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me...”
                                                       Psalm 51:10

Junk Mail !   Those annoying letters that fill your mailbox. Along with the junk mail, are delightful bills and renewal notices. Of course the junk can be thrown away, the bills unfortunately must be dealt with, and the renewal notices, those we are thankful to see. Without them, we’d likely forget to renew our licenses, our credit cards, our membership cards and whatever else. Without those renewal notices we might go to the ATM and not be able to get money because our card is expired. oops! We might be asked to show some identification and the officer say “sorry sir, but your license in invalid, out of date!
    Somehow the most important things in life that need renewing don’t come with renewal notices. For instance the love you have for your family. You won’t get a notice in the mail telling you to renew your love for them. But if you don’t renew it day after day  your love will grow cold.
    You will never receive a notice in the mail to renew your love and relationship for God.  This is the most important relationship you will ever have. It must be kept fresh and alive.
      So let this be your notice! Renew your love for family and God starting today. Renew your love for the things of God and His calling on your life.
     We all need a little renewing, once in awhile.
As David in Psalm 51, why not ask God to renew that spirit within you.
