From your Pastor;

           When we partake of the symbols of the bread and juice do we honor the profound reality they represent? Does our gratitude for His indwelling life find it’s expression through our love for Him? Are you no longer living for self-interest but living for the One who gave His all for you?
     The Lord’s Supper as we call it, is a time to remember what Jesus Christ has done, what He means to us, and how we desire to live for Him.
      The bread represents His body for you. This body is the power to live life as God would want it lived by His children. You are His child, right? Then live for Him.
     The juice represents His blood which He said is the blood of the new covenant. When you partake of it you are acknowledging that your life has ended and you are now taking on His life giving blood.
  “...or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit... and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price...”
                                                        1 Corinthians 6:19,20a
     Therefore when you take that cup and drink it, you are publicly proclaiming that you agree with the sentence of death upon your old life and that the life of Christ is now being lived out in you.

 “... therefore glorify God in your body.”
                                                              1 Corinthians 6:20b
