From your Pastor;

           ...so we who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
                                                   Romans 12:5

    If you understand the body of Christ, you recognize the loveliness of God’s children, the error of division, the need for fellowship, and the responsibility you have as a member. If you are a true member of the body, you will be aware of the authority of the Head, Jesus Christ.
      We must submit to the direct authority of the Head, and also the indirect authority of the Head.
example; your hand submits to your brain’s authority, but it also must submit indirectly to the authority of your shoulder, your wrist, your arm.  Your mind tells the hand to move even while it is attached to the arm. If the hand refuses to obey the indirect authority of the arm then there will arise a problem.
    So it is with the body of Christ. We all are dependent upon one another. If one of us gets out of sorts, that will affect the whole. If we all are submitting to the authority of the Head, then we work together in harmony producing in our body the rewarding work of Jesus Christ.
    Nothing in the body can live outside, or apart from the Head. If  the hand is removed it will die. The shoulder, the arm, the wrist will continue but no part can exist on its own.
    If you understand the body of Christ, you recognize the loveliness of God’s children, the error of division, the need for fellowship, and the responsibility you have as a member.

    Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.                   1 Corinthians 12:27
