 From your Pastor;

      But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

                                                                                   Hebrews 5:14

      Solid food is for full-grown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil. This "reason of use;" "this practice" can also be translated "on account of their habit."

      Why is solid food for grown men, because they have developed the habit of consuming solid food. They have experience in the “word of righteousness”   They are skillful in the word of God on account of habitual use.
       The Bible exposes its readers. A curious reader will read curious things out of the bible. An intellect will find the bible full of reasons and questions. A man who does not think, will only see letters in each verse. If these traits are not corrected they will lead the person astray and make his bible reading fruitless.
     What kind of character and habit is required for studying the bible well?
              Come next week and find out !
