" I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me..."

Galatians 2: 20

These words mean that the breaking and surrendering of our independence to the Lordship of Jesus Christ must be brought about by our own hands.  Not that we could accomplish it; but that we must agree with it, thereby surrendering to it.

God can bring you up to this point but He will not push you through it.  You must break the hardened outer shell of your independence from Him and surrender to become one with Him.

Has the breaking of your independence come?  All the rest is simply religious hub~a~ba~loo.  There is really only one point to decide, "will I give up?"  Will you surrender to Jesus Christ?  Placing no conditions whatsoever on how He comes in.  Will you be broken fromj your own understanding?  When you reach that point the reality of the Spirit of God is unmistakable~ "I have been crucified with Christ..."

The passion of Christianity comes from deliberately sighing away the rights to yourself, and becoming a bondservant of Christ.  Until you do this you will never really begin to live.

Will you, today, allow God to have His way with you.  Or will you continue to be more concerned with your own ideas of what you are going to be.

O, Lord, explore down to the deepest springs of my spirit, down to where Your Spirit makes intercession for me.  Persuade me to surrender to You.
