From your Pastor;

 “Even children are known by the way they act,
whether their conduct is pure, and whether it is right.”
                                                           Proverbs 20:11 (NLT)

    Today it seems, there is an increasing number of
“child centered homes” in America. Homes where the child is in charge. One cause being, many parents refuse to see their children as they really are.
For example, a rebellious and stubborn child is referred to as “strong willed.” While a manipulative and sneaky child is known is today’s circles as “creative.”  Some of you are nodding your head by now. I’m not asking for you parents to go on a tirade with your child. Instead I used these comments as an illustration. We must treat our children as God our Father treats us, with love and discipline.
    We also, live at times in our own self-centered world. We forget what we look like when we’re being selfish.
Do the hard work!  Examine yourself, don’t be the one who looks in the mirror, turns away, and forgets what he sees. Be honest with yourself and with God. He is trying to produce in you godly character and fruit. Let Him break you, shape you, mold you and fill you. I know it hurts, but it is for our good.
    As Proverbs 20:11 states; what actions are you performing that show who you really are?

 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”                  Matthew 5:16
