From your Pastor;

                                             “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
                                                                                Romans 3:23

           It is the blood of Christ that deals with our sin. But we must now go a step further in God’s plan for us. The blood can wash away my sins, however it does not wash away my “old man.” That needs the Cross to crucify me. The blood deals with the sins, the cross deals with the sinner.
         At the beginning of our Christian life we are more concerned with our doing, not with our being. We are more distressed with what we’ve done than with what we are. We set out to change our actions, but the results are not what we expected. We discover our problems are not so much on the outside, but rather on our inside. We want to please the Lord, but something on our inside does not always want to. We try to be humble, but our inside refuses to always be humble. We try to be loving, but inside we are most unloving. The more we try to fix the outside the more we realize the deep trouble that lies within. When we come to this realization we say, “Lord, I see it now! Not only what I have done was wrong; I am wrong.” So what is the fix for this problem? It is by dying that we are born to eternal life.  Bondage to sin came by our birth; deliverance from sin comes by our death.
                                                    “...how shall we who have died to sin, still live in it?”
                                                                                    Romans 6:2
It is by the blood that God deals with our sin. It is by the Cross He deals with our “old man.” Have you been crucified with Christ, and yet you live?
