"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.'."

John 3:3

Sometimes we are fresh and eager to attend Church, but are we that way with the everyday task before us? (work, school, chores, responsibilities?)

Being born again by the Spirit is an unmistakable work of God, as mysterious as the wind, and as surprising as God Himself.  We don't know where or how; it is just hidden in the depths of our soul.  Being born again is an enduring and eternal beginning.  It provides a freshness we find in thinking, talking, and living.  It is a continual freshness in all of life.  Life begins to become stale when we get out of step with God.

Jealously guard your relationship with God.  Jesus prayed, "that they may be one just as We are one."  Keep your whole life continually open to Jesus Christ, don't pretend to be open with Him.

If you are drawing the power for life from any other source than God, you will not know it when God's power is gone.  You will keep on living but on your own power and not His.  This brings staleness of life.  Being born again means much more than we think.  It gives us new vision and a new outlook and keeps all things fresh and alive through the never ending supply of life which comes from God our Father.
