From your Pastor;

      Since the day that Adam took fruit from the tree of knowledge, man has been engaged in deciding what is good and what is evil. The natural man has worked out his own standards of right and wrong, justice and injustice, and he has attempted to live by them. Of course as Christians we are different. Since we are converted (born again) we have a new sense of right and wrong. Not one coming from the tree but one coming from the Cross. Our wisdom and decision making stems from Christ.

    But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption...   1 Cor. 1:30

   So, as people live their lives, at least half if not more,  is lived out by reaction. We react
 as life happens. By observing how a person reacts we can judge who they are. A Christian should not have non-Christian reactions, and a non-Christian cannot have true Christians reactions.

 Having said this;  If God controls your reactions, then you cannot react freely as you
 would. As God commands you, so will you react. It is His life within you, the life He is
 giving you that does the reacting.

     Remember, solving this reaction problem will resolve half if not more of your life! It is Christ in you that is reacting, not your old man, but the new!  People act- you react; they say something- you react they get attitude- you react; All this reaction being accomplished by your knowledge of the Cross.

Some may call you a doormat., allowing people to walk on and over you. But the Cross says “what a wonderful way to cleanse the feet of those who may enter into His fellowship
 through your door.”

     For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the
 threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Psalm 84:10
